Happy Anniversary Babe!

10 YEARS!! Friday was our actual 10 year anniversary! Even though we celebrated in May by going to Hawaii we still celebrated with an evening out! Can't believe it's been 10 years! Jason was so romantic he told the waitress, when she tried handing him the check, that we actually needed the bill split in two." I burst out laughing and the lady wasn't sure what to do. Such a funny guy! We tried to go to a movie but 10 minutes into the movie the babysitters called and said there was a burning smell coming from the furnace that kept getting stronger. We, of course, went home. We had to laugh that this is why you LEAVE town to celebrate 10 years!! However, at dinner we came up with 10 big moments in the past ten years . . .

1. Jason's life threatening fall from 10 feet of scaffolding 6 months into marriage!
2. The amazing bonding moment of the birth of our first . . . Ian!
3. Working together with youth . . . highlights being mission trips, camps, and becoming known
as the "Sex Couple" while we taught "Abstinence Education" in the schools.
4. Hearing the words, "There's one baby and there's another!" WHAT??
5. Adding on to our house . . . I had my own personal Tye Pennington! Jason worked around
the clock to get ready for the twins! I went into labor the morning the kitchen floor was being
laid!
6. Surprising Jason with his 30th b-day trip to San Fransisco, he had NO idea until we drove into the airport parking lot. He thought it was JUST US until I gave him his other birthday
present . . . a positive pregnancy test!
7. Making the big move (physically and emotionally) from OK to Utah!
8. Hearing the words, "It's A GIRL!" -after nine months of wondering, those were sweet words!
9. Victoria Island 5 year ann. trip! We both agreed all of our "just us" trips should make the list!
10. Developing some life time friendships with couples that have been friends and mentors.
We believe those friendships have only strengthened our marriage. Thanks, you know who
you are!

Can't wait to see what surprises and experiences the next ten years will bring! Love ya Jas! Happy Anniversary!
