Ten on Ten - September 2010

Last month when my friend Kim did the Ten on Ten project I loved it.
I made a mental note to join in this month.
I thought I'd forget - I didn't. YEAH.
Thanks for the reminder Kim.
The project has a blog of it's own called Ten on Ten.
Here's the idea behind it

Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments. Then share your beauty with us!

It fits with my year - trying to find beauty in the everyday things in life - trying to celebrate the simple little things.
Not always easy for me but good to do.
This project fit.
I read this post yesterday on another blog that REALLY fits with this whole idea of noticing the everyday things.
Take the time to read it, you will be encouraged as a mother.

So here it is.
Here's my day, my normal (whatever that is) day on September 10.
(I forgot some hours so I'll have to work on the consecutive part. It was more challenging than I thought it would be.)

It's only been days of us having our own bathroom.  I could brush my teeth for weeks and not get water marks on the mirror but ONE kid brushes in our bathroom ONE time and this is the result.  Oh well,  it made me think of this one
kid while blow drying.

(I know it's disgusting but it was part of my day. We are experimenting with a way to get rid of little flies.)

Notice the simple things in life.

I like your day. I really love the honesty and the warmth I feel in your day. Your blow drying in the tooth paste mirror is perfection! It is pretty much my life.

Great Series! I'm your new follower.
