Complete Randomness

This post might just be all over the place.
That's been my head lately.
I've had the itch to journal and write often in the last several days on a number of topics but when the house is finally quiet and I have a chance to sit down the thoughts are GONE.
Summer days have a way of taking it all out of ya!

On a SUPER exciting note . . . Jason is officially done with YEAR 1 (two semesters and a summer session) of Seminary!
I'm so proud of him and all his hard work!!
I don't know how he has managed to get his good scores when he does his thinking at insane hours of night.

I did something the other day that was frightening!!
I looked at the calendar and counted weeks till school!
AHHHHH!
It's only 3.5 weeks!
No way!!
I'm fighting back on this one.
I'm not ready for summer to end.

I don't know why I"m not ready for it to end because  lately I've said these phrases a hundred times a day.
"Show Kindness" . . . "Make your words kind." . . . . "Just ignore it.". . .  it then turns too . . . "Stop yelling.". . . "Stop fighting." . . . "That's enough". . . . "Go to your bed.". . . "NOW".
Only to repeat itself again in 15 minutes.

As I am typing I hear these phrases in the other living room.
"You just want to do it your way."
"Your bossing us."
"If you don't do what we say then we won't do what you say."

I've had tears at crazy times lately too.
Don't read into that it means NOTHING!
One was at the eye doctor.
I was watching Carter and Coleson each have their first ever eye exam.
Seeing them in the big chair beaming from ear to ear was just too much.
I kept laughing and saying how stinking cute they looked and the Dr. said, "I think someone thinks you are pretty cool."
I just kept laughing because I could feel the knot in my throat and I knew if I stopped laughing the tears would come!!
The days are escaping me with these two.
I'm desperate to hang onto them.

At the very same time, in the last 24 hours, I have felt this spark of excitement for moments to come with Tatum.
I was laying in her bed reading her a book before naptime and I thought, "This fall I could actually do this often without yelling out to the boys every other page, 'I'm in Tatum's room!'.
I might even be able to shut my eyes with her.
It's very rare that I lay down with her.
Usually it's a mad rush to just get her into bed so she can fall asleep before we are on to the next thing.

Strange how the tears are flowing for one reason yet sparks of excitement are there for another reason.

Since this post is so random let's just cap it off with some random pics that have nothing to do with this post!!

Have a good day!
Look around you at the randomness in your life and be thankful that though things may appear random, our Creator is a God of Order and it all makes sense to Him.
I'm thankful for that today!!
