Keeping it Real

If you have spent any amount of time with me you know one thing I value is authenticity!
Not the authenticity where you can say whatever you want and hurt people but authenticity where you are REAL with your struggles and REAL with your celebrations! So when a blog I follow posted this idea I decided to jump on it.

I share many of her thoughts on blogs. Many times we put out our "best". We share great ideas and pictures of great days.
Some of my posts show my "bests" too but I'm REAL. Hopefully you've seen that in my posts too!
I'm a real mom,
I have GREAT days
and I have ROUGH days
I forget things.
I'm late.
I raise my voice and then feel guilty.
Ok let's keep it VERY REAL . . .
I YELL and then feel guilty.
I have crazy mom moments daily.

Here's my "Keeping It Real" post.

I DON"T SORT MY LAUNDRY!!! That's right!! Unless it's NEW or REALLY NICE . . . it all goes in together!!
Years ago, while at a friends house that had five kids, I watched her do laundry and noticed their was no sorting.
I said, "You don't sort your laundry?"
Well, years later . . . four kids later . . . . I don't sort it either.
Haven't for years.
It's one way I stay sane!!

Share your "Keeping it Real" post!!
I'd love to read 'em!!
Go check out the other "Keeping It Real" posts here.

I'm heading out the door to go see my little girl . . . and spend some time at Grammy's while my man is gone.
Coleson just came up to me and said, "Why do we always have to clean up our house before we leave to go somewhere? Why do we?"
Because you have a crazy mom who doesn't have enough to do when she is heading out the door so she likes to add picking up to the list. HA!

Okay, what I want to know is how on earth you carried twins!?! It is so uncomfortable with ONE! Bless your heart!

I don't sort laundry either. In fact I don't do a lot of things the way I probably should. One day I figured out that I've got to do it my way or it either won't get done or I'll hate doing it! So no worries there, plus if we were perfect we wouldn't be here doing what we are doing. You are great and a wonderful mommy!

Funny, also honest. I stopped sorting laundry this year and we are still alive. Come check out our giveaway, you might like it.
