I am a 32 year old mother of 4 and wife to one amazing man! Our kids were all born within 4 years and 4 months of each other. The order goes, boy, twin boys, and girl! Honestly, it's what I always dreamed of. . . a house full of boys and one girl!! Be careful what you dream about! Life is loud at our house but the love is loud too!
My husband and I met in college. After a year of dreaming about him from a distance, we went on our first date and are still dating 11.5 years later. During my freshman year I can remember saying to my closest friends, "I would NEVER get married before graduating from college . . . (pause) . . . UNLESS of course Jason Quiring asked me to marry him." Well, Jason Quiring asked me to marry him and I kept to my word. I married that boy the year before my Sr. Year. He's my best friend and the one I want to grow old with and laugh with every day!
I have stolen my life motto from my husband... "Love God, Love People, Serve the World" -that about sums it up! I'm a Jesus Follower and am passionate about living the FREE life that Christ offers us. I don't have a tatoo (I'm scared of needles) but if I did it would somehow symbolize Galatians 5:1 and 5:13 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. You, my brothers and sisters, were called TO BE FREE. Do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature rather, serve one another humbly in love!"
I started blogging two years ago and now it is near the top of my "hobbies" list. It's a great way for me to keep long distance family and friends involved in our lives but it's become more than that too. I've always loved journaling, creativity and taking pictures. I'm a PASSIONATE person and have thoughts flying around in my head on fifty different topics daily! Sharing them on my blog is one way to connect with other people with similar lifestyles and interests as well as learn from people with different views and interests. The blogging world has connected moms from all over. Of all the things I enjoy about blogging my favorite thing is the fact that I can print my blog into a book and have it for my kids to read someday. It's a snapshot into their mom's mind during the years when I'm at home raising them!
