I just finished watching the Season Premier of Jon and Kate Plus 8 and I cried through so much of it!! I love the show, and love following it, yes I think she's a control freak and all but we'd all have our issues if we had sextuplets and twins. Anyways, from the show it's obvious that their marriage isn't in a good spot. I've been thinking of them so much lately, I even dreamed about it all this week. AHHH!Here's what I want to say to them . . .
FIGHT for your marriage. Fight for it like you are fighting for your kids happiness and safety from it all.
What do you want to say to them?
While I'm on my soap box of marriage. . . . if you believe in the biblical model of marriage God didn't intend for anyone's marriage to be about the kids. Yes he wants you to stay married but the design on marriage isn't to just "be married". It's to have a growing, thriving, intimate marriage. You are either working towards that or moving away from that every day. We all have great days, bad days, great seasons, and rough seasons but always fight for your marriage. Okay, I'm off my soap box - I'm just hoping Jon and Kate will put their efforts into fighting FOR their marriage!

I'm with you all the way. I watched the episode this morning and such an overwhelming sadness came over me. I really hope they will be able to work things out. They are such a neat couple.
I felt the exact same way. Teared up and was SO sad for them. The BEST thing they can do for their kids is to make their marriage a priority. It just broke my heart! Nic, I love the honesty and diversity of your posts. Thanks for keeping it real girl!
