Grammy and Gramps came to visit for a weekend and see Ian play a basketball game. (Grammy gets to stay all week!!!!) We let Ian play hookie on Friday and we all went to Park City to check out the Olympic Park and go sledding. The twins were the perfect weight to get some air and Ian had some great runs! Everyone had some good crashes and no one got hurt, not even Gramps. After one ride down for Tatum (with Grammy) she was done! She entertained herself using a stick as a microphone.
I'd be lying if I said the whole day was without issues . . . . we had some temper tantrums (the kids had some too), whining, and someone was contaminating the van air!! That's just the way it is with a large family . . . . . some days all goes as planned and other days require extra patience!! But the hours of sledding was worth it and everyone ended the day saying it was very fun! We closed the day with a movie night!! FUN!!

Looks like so much fun. I often feel guilty for not taking Sierra tubing (or any other snow-related activity) often - if it just wasn't for the cold! It's so worth it though to see those expressions :)
Your sledding trip looks like soooo much fun! There's not too many hills around Fairview to go sledding, especially ones to catch some good air! Come to think of it, there's usually not enough snow to go sledding! Hope things are going well for you guys.... we think of you often and you are in our prayers. Love you all. Melvena
